The-e-shop was commissioned by Hakes Associates to implement a flexible, user-friendly yet comprehensive CAD layering standard for its diverse range of design projects. A series of discussions and consultancy meetings helped to define Hakes’ requirements with particular regard to its high-end 3D modelling and visualisation services. Drawing on the multi-disciplinary expertise of the-e-shop CAD team, a solution was specified, approved and fully implemented that responded to every aspect of the original brief. Hakes’ CAD work is now all produced to a BS1192-compliant standard, providing it with all the scope and headroom required to exercise its unique design flair.
